We fished south end. Our rig is so heavy the North makes a little nervous of getting stuck and tide coming in. We fish toward the the tip but not as far as most people go. We look for holes in the breakers with lots of shell and set up. Didn't see any bait in waves. We had gone over with lots of frozen finger mullet and we get from Chasin Tails in Atlantic Beach near our business. We only live a few miles from ferry so that is the easiest for us. Plus the people are supper nice and know the current bite and what is best. Took fresh shrimp in case but couldn't give it away to the fish. Froze it for grandkids. Trick is to hold your rod not put it in holder. Everything grabbed the bait and ran straight for beach. If you didn't keep up with line they got off. People saw us catching stopped close and put their rigs out then in rod holders and didn't catch any and moved on. We had all the action to ourselves. Hope you guys get some.
