Threegals is right - Whiskeyriver's original question did say "rod and reel".
Last year, I found a Fierce 6000 at a local retailer for $50 (old stock), and put it together with a Tsunami Five Star 10' MH rod for $40. Made a decent combo that didn't break the bank (I didn't particularly like the rod that came with the Fierce combos - but that's more of a matter of taste).
