Hey Tiderunner, I remember a picture hanging in Redrum B@T I think that had 100s of trout that had beached themselves during a blitz. Great picture. This was back in early 80s. Not sure if that pics still there. I have never seen trout beaching themselves. I have been part of the blitzes at the lighthouse at hatteras. Nothing really like it. We went every thanksgiving forom 76 thru 81. I left for college after that. I'm not sure they experience the blitzes anymore like that. I do know that tiderunner is exactly right about the trout fishing. Our trout fishing is much better due to the lack of what I've always called Hatteras blues. Chopper blues I thought was a northern US term used by boat captains. Not sure. Let me know TR next lunch outing you do. Catamount
