Unfortunately not. Driving access is limited to just beyond the jetty. The tip of the Power Squadron Spit, as the Park Service calls it would be a great place to fish for big game fish as the water there is 70 feet deep. You can hike form the closure to the tip to fish, but it about a mile and a half hike. I can't do that anymore.
