Was wondering if anyone could comment on kayaking from Sea Level to Drum/Ophelia inlet. I understand that the inlet side of the Northern Island is closed but the inlet side of Davis Island is open (just not to vehicles)?
Any information would be great. Would most likely time it around a falling/flooding tide, and would not make the trip if high winds were foretasted. Also would take all necessary safety precautions including handheld VHF radio.
