Not with the new aluminum bodied F150's.
True, there might be a bunch of dings, holes, rips or tears, but the tailgate shouldn't rust.
Seriously, the only thing I would worry about with a turbo engine on the beach is if your pulling such a load that you need premium gas (if you have to refill on the island). I know Ford's Ecoboost runs fine on regular with regular loads - I'm just not so sure if you have it loaded down and in soft sand if it would do better with premium? You could always carry a bottle or two of octane boost with you, just in case.
