Good story...thanks. Reminds me of my (now deceased and missed) fishing buddy, G.C. He'd have the oldest, roughest equipment and caught the most fish. I accused him of buying all his stuff at a yard sale when he returned from WWII. What a character he was! We always have plenty of "G.C. stories" to share when we go to the island.
