Went over early Sunday morning got settled into cabin and hit the beach by noon. Drove to South beach through village toward jetties landed a keeper flounder right of the bat. Spanish and False Albacore's just out of range. Finger mullet thick as thieves. Nets full on both cast and set some rods out toward point. Slot drum within several minutes and all the taylor blues you want to catch, was able to get a Spanish. Fished till sundown headed back. Headed out early and set up near the point and limited out on slot drum. Few flounder under and blues. Drove back to jetties to find trout running bait on the bank and was able to catch a nice one before they stopped. Caught a few flounder and headed back in.
Tuesday landed a citation and few more slot drum and again more blues on lures. Bait wasn't as thick.
Wednesday another citation and only a couple slot fish again bait was harder to find. False Alacore were close and fun to catch.
Thursday another citation and then watched the surf come an go as wind was less than 8mph, still able to get two more slots. Probally the coolest thing were two F10's did a fly by over point.
Friday didn't yield much but beautiful weather.
Headed back early on Saturday.
