Got several dozen at beach landing on sound side just north of the cabins in August. A clam rake is a must. They are scattered so takes a little work. Beer helps. Don’t forget to soak them in the dark (cover bucket with towel) in fresh ocean water for a couple of hours to get the grit out before baking. Prefer to coat them Old Bay and wrap pot tight with tin foil to steam them in own juices. Make sure to get a pan with a grate so the clams don’t soak in the gritty juices and wrap tight. This is a must! Bake at 425F for 20 mins or longer until open. Butter and wine is all you need. They are delicious!
