If you just go by yourself, living in the back of a Tahoe or Suburban is fine. I've seen guys with AC/DC converters running small microwaves, or freezer/refrigerators. Someone makes magnetic screens for windows as well as gutters so you can crack a window during rain storms.
Air mattresses are cool in summer and Cold in winter. FYI
Or go with a sleeping cot that you can put up on the side of the vehicle.
But you seem to it get already, the best part is not driving far when your day is done.
