We've been keeping and updating this list for many years. Much of the wording is cut and pasted right from this forum. We have added phone numbers, addresses, etc. I can't figure out how to post this list by itself. If any of you have an update of this list, please let me know. I'll update and keep it as current as I can.

Tackle shop on R just before the bridge going over to Harker's island. They had a sign that said fresh bait.
Crabby Patty’s, bait and restaurant. George, owner, will hook you up even after hours, 916 E. Main St., just S. of start of divided highway, South of Rt 101 (252) 444-1211, about 1/2 mile past the marine base or 101 on hwy 70.

101 Produce & Seafood Rt 101 tween Harlowe and high bridge. On L app. 10 miles from Havelock, before you cross the IC waterway, “shacky” looking place at end of large crop field next to brick house. (252) 247-7830
Where 101 turns at Parker Boats, coming from Havelock, continue straight, like going to Morehead, about 1 mile on left, sign in front yard.
