Look into a Cot Tent. They are handy and the wind will not fold them. Just make sure that you anchor it well. But the wind will not flatten them out. You can decide to sleep in the cot tent during warm weather and store your gear in there during cold weather.
I've got one and I use for quick trips where I don't feel.like loading my slide in the truck. Heck...at cot tent and cheap 4x4 with a simple truck camper shell.may be an even better idea.
