Roof rack would be nice for extra gear and recovery equipment. I only go over in the spring and fall so temps are usually cool enough that a fan is not needed. I use a small propane burner instead of a hot plate, battery LED lanterns last forever, and I personally don’t place a high value TV, I like to fully “get away” from it all…..but you could take an iPad. All that to say, a generator might be overkill camping inside your truck. Space will be a premium, so less=more.
