IMO; forget the generator, with LED lights and a AC Power inverter you won't need it, if anything get an extra battery and put in the backseat.
Generator takes up too much room, plus you'll need gas. Take a book, usually only takes one or two pages to fall asleep at the end of the day on the banks.
