my 2 cents about the chemical toilet. you don't need it. 5 gal. bucket with an old toilet seat does the trick. a little water and some tp on the bottom, do your thing, then DIG A HOLE about 10 inches deep in the dunes away from where others may walk. DUMP your business IN THE HOLE and FILL THE HOLE! just like a cat sort of, it's called a cat hole. it's disgusting to walk in the dunes and see poop and tp everywhere!
