The positive is usually in April the waters can be crystal clear. And year around you can gig the back creeks. I've never had my best gigging in April. I have always done my best in July and October in the sounds. Not saying their not there. They are. And I most definetly would take advantage of it if I was there. Almost anywhere you see bait and pinfish are good choices. Good luck
