I'm working on a "new" fishing rig. Question for those with truck campers...Do you have "Weighted" tags on your trucks?
95 F250 weight ~6K lbs.
Camper weight ~2-3K lbs loaded.
GVWR is 8.8K
I don't plan on pulling anything big with this rig. DMV and other resources is a big bag of confusion on this issue. I've read that if your vehicle is <6K and your combined vehicle plus trailer weight is over 9K then you need weighted tags. RVs are excluded, not sure how a slide in camper fits in to this?
Curious what others have decided on this?
