Get ready.... Wind forecast for Ophelia is perfect for this weekend, especially Sunday night. Sat. night,13-15 knots from the NE. Sunday night.. 15-21 knots from the NE, moving to ENE. Monday 15-22 from the East. If this truly stays due east late Sunday and all day Monday, there will very likely be significant overwash near the inlet on high tides.
Historically, the wind only blows from the due East only about 2% of the time so this will probably change some.
