I called the NPS office and asked. The person would not tell which cabins were open, but did say if I told her the cabin number I had reserved she could tell me whether or not it had been reopened. Mine was NOT a lucky number (3). She did say that NPS crews were working hard to repair the cabins and as they become available these would be added to the open list. She was very cordial and polite and was understanding of our situation. I'm surprised that any of the cabins are left standing at all after the punishment that Florence dealt them. I was expecting to hear a lot worse. Prayers and well wishes to all who are part of the rebuilding process!!!
