It was supposed to be this week. I have a friend who works for the park service. No one is working on the island or the offices and no one is monitoring or updating the website. And unfortunately during this pissing match, no work is being done to the cabins or infrastructure to get things ready. There is still a lot of damage on north core that needs attention. He is saying it will be February before reservations are taken providing the shutdown is over by then.
