Never had theirs but I have one that everyone loves. Is this Porky from Rowan county ?

take about a pound & 1/2 of skinless fish fillets (Black or Red drum works great), 4 potatoes, 2 medium size onions, two stalks of celery, two cloves of garlic, 1/2 stick of butter and 3 Tbs. of olive oil, 1 TBS of Old Bay and 1 Tbs. of lemon pepper. 1/4 pound of diced bacon.
over medium - heat the butter and oil in a dutch oven and add the garlic, onions and celery, microwave the potatoes for about 4 minutes after you have washed and cut into 1 inch cubes then add them to the dutch oven. Brown that all off and add the fish, cook for an hour or till the fish starts falling apart then add some water till it's the consistency of stew you want.Add some crushed red pepper if you like. You can't over cook it unless you burn it. Dice and fry the bacon till crisp, keep that separate and add on top of the stew when served along with a good hearty slice bread and enjoy.
Just so happens I'm making it right now.
