Muddawg, my wife is from Ahoskie and her mom would back a Rock with potatoes and onions and bacon on top, it was very good.
I think when you put eggs on top of a fish stew and poach them, it's called Muddle ?
I just googled Fish Muddle and there are a ton of variations. here's just one that sounds good.
