The North Carolina Wildlife Federation has drafted a petition to limit the amount of inshore trawling allowed. In my opinion, none should be allowed. No other state on the east coast allows inshore trawling. I have attached a link at the bottom to NC Wildlife Foundation, who was instrumental in the Let Them Spawn legislation, and is also trying to limit the amount of inshore trawling conducted in NC.
