Many years back I bought a cuddy cabin boat and stayed the weekend at Oak Island docked at a marina. There was a guy in a Carolina skiff that pulled a small inshore shrimp operation and ask me if I would like to go out with him. We pulled appro. an hour and headed in. When he pulled in the net I was shocked, the net appeared to have approx. 50 lbs. of what I thought was shrimp. As he dumped the net there may have been 2 hands full of shrimp, the rest was baby Flounder,Blues, Crokers, crabs etc... all dead and culled and dumped. NO INSHORE SHRIMPING!!
