13 ft, building to 18 ft this afternoon. Near shore, seas around
11 ft, building to 16 ft this afternoon. Dominant period 11 seconds.
Adjacent sounds and rivers extremely rough. Isolated tstms this
morning. Showers. Scattered tstms this afternoon.

TONIGHT
Hurricane conditions expected. SE winds 45 to 65 kt with
gusts up to 85 kt, becoming E 65 to 85 kt with gusts up to 110 kt
after midnight. Seas around 24 ft, building to 31 ft after midnight.
Near shore, seas 19 to 20 ft. Dominant period 10 seconds. Adjacent
sounds and rivers extremely rough. Showers. Isolated tstms.

FRI
Hurricane conditions expected. NW winds 65 to 85 kt with
gusts up to 105 kt, diminishing to 30 to 35 kt in the afternoon.
Seas around 24 ft, subsiding to 14 ft in the afternoon. Near shore,
seas around 17 ft, subsiding to 10 ft in the afternoon. Dominant
period 10 seconds. Adjacent sounds and rivers extremely rough.
Isolated tstms. Showers, mainly in the morning.

FRI NIGHT
Tropical storm conditions possible with hurricane
conditions also possible. NW winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to
30 kt, becoming W 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas around 8 ft,
subsiding to 4 ft after midnight. Near shore, seas around 5 ft,
subsiding to 3 ft after midnight. Dominant period 8 seconds.
Adjacent sounds and rivers rough, diminishing to light chop after
midnight. A chance of showers in the evening.

NW winds 5 to 10 kt, diminishing to around 5 kt in the
afternoon. Seas around 3 ft. Adjacent sounds and rivers light chop,
diminishing to flat in the afternoon.
