Overnight stay before taking the ferry over to the cabins

If things work out with the camp, we have reservations starting Sunday. Because of distance, we're planning to come down Saturday and stay overnight before catching the first boat over. Any suggestions for a Saturday night stay in the area ? Havelock, Davis, Harker's Island, etc. ? Thanks !
