Hi everyone, Fist thank you for all great information on this forum. Now it is my turn to contribute.
On Friday night we had an accident and my wife stumbled on on piece of firewood. The piece of firewood was away from the other wood for the fire. She feel and her hand went into the fire. We are at UNC Burn Center awaiting skin grafting surgery today. So my first contribution is a reminder to ALL to secure you campfire areas early with good available light, remove anything and everything away from your fire area which could be a potential hazard. Please use extra caution and let this serve as a reminder to use extra caution around beach fires. Accidents can happen even in Paridise. God speed to everyone and to my amazing and courageous wife's speedy recovery.
