Arrived to the island Friday afternoon to a bit of wind. Headed north and caught a 44 inch on first cast. Four of us fished for about 5 hours that night and had 3 over 40, a 29, and two 38s, one whiting was all we had edible. Wind ran us off. Saturday we had a mixed bag of some edibles, couple keeper black drum, a puppy, handful of whiting, 20” trout, one 42 inch drum and about 10 puppies that were all an inch or so too small. Sunday we caught our limit of puppies, some nice whiting, our only toadfish, a couple keeper black drum, and a 16” trout. On the trip we caught a bunch of blues mixed in and a handful of flounder. One of the flounder was a fat 16” that was hard to part with. We mainly fished north but everywhere we tried we caught something. Awesome trip! Tight lines
