The past few years I've taken up the hobby of collecting old Coleman camping products, mostly lanterns. I think back to when I first started going out there, the only thing we had to light our cabin was my Dad's 228F from 1969. More recent years I started taking a 228D from 1948 that I acquired(I like the 228 "big hats" as they do a better job throwing downward light), and I try to rotate what I bring from year to year.
Mostly now we take a generator so we don't really need the cabin lantern, but I do still take my adjustable 288A on the beach for night fishing. I also take a 413G stove for cooking meals on the beach.
Curious if anyone else on here has this interest, or even if they are just gear to you, what you take and why.
