For those asking why Cape Lookout National Seashore remains open for visitors:
Cape Lookout National Seashore remains open to the extent possible to support the Secretary of the Department of the Interior’s Order of keeping parks with open space areas available to the public where it is safe, and is following the North Carolina Governor's executive order where leaving home to go to an open outdoor recreation area is permitted, and is following health advisories issued by the State of North Carolina, and the CDC. Social distancing and hand washing/sanitizing remain our best defense. Vehicle ferry service from Davis and Atlantic to the park remains in service.
