2nd on the Abu 6500 C3. Make sure it is the C3 if you have the option. Also 2nd on doing a test drop. Adjust the spool tension knob beside the crank until you only get a turn or 2 on the spool. Once you cast I recommend laying your thumb on the reel just barely touching. Just BEFORE it hits the water thumb it hard. As you get better you can loosen the knob just the slightest for a little more yardage.
