I knew I would get good info from you folks. Thanks to all!
BTW, I camped on Portsmouth last week Tues thru Sat. Tues and Wed caught a dozen whiting, nice blues (one 27"), small shark and the first gray trout I've seen in 15 years. Probably over a dozen trout, most small but was great to see them again. Thurs didn't see anything caught. Friday caught a few more nice blues and saw one caught that measured 40", biggest blue I've ever seen.
