DS first - Went over at lunch on Saturday. Got to office but no check in at 1 PM we had to wait until 2 PM for extra deep "Covid Cleaning". Once at the cabin and unpacking found a big pile of dog poop under one of the beds. So much for extra cleaning??? Crazy! Here is a big THANKS to the folks that stayed before us in Cabin 12. Classy! I guess when they swept, they swept around it??? Generator main breaker needs to be replaced. (all issues reported to the ranger on duty).
Saturday - fishing a short distance from the North point was good. One big blue and 3 Reds. 2 slots and a 29 inch Red. One nice 4 or 5 lb blue fish. It was a very angry ocean with a super high tide. Had to ride thru some water on the way out.
Sunday - nothing North on low or high tide. South point looked promising but no fish. Very high tides.
Sunday - too much sunshine! No fish
All caught on cut mullet. Had a great time as always can't wait to go back in October
