Got a lot of beach erosion going on right now - extreme high tide this week, plus the storm swell. I am told it was closed because of that after a vehicle almost ended up floating - there has not been much space between the dunes and the ocean. We expect this to continue on through the weekend and into next week, but will monitor and open up when we can. We even had overwash onto the backroad over the weekend...
