Early July can be good,with a shot at almost anything that swims, but by the end of July, the heat becomes a real problem. A lot of people sleep during the day, and fish all night. Make sure that you buy, or make some kind of tarp or awning system for shade. I carry both a small and large tarp, (small for windy conditions), a couple of pvc "poles" and several sand type tent stakes. Only takes a few minitues up or down. You will be miserable if you try to fish in the sun all day. Good luck. Plan ahead for the sun and heat, or you'll be in trouble. Do it right and you'll have a blast.
