Usually go over a little later in May. Everyones schedule didn't work out this trip for later. Have caught a couple nice drum around the middle of May. Have been going over every year in May for the last 5 years. Try to go atleast once in the spring and once in the fall. Got caught up in a northeastener in May 1999. Was delayed getting off island for day and a half due to ferry couldn't run. Was not a fun trip at all. We usually catch alot of gray trout in spring and smaller sea mullets. Could catch a varity of about anything. I think the fishing is usually better in the fall. We enjoy whether we catch anything or not. I noticed your email address said pepsi. Do you work for on of the Pepsi plants in central NC. I live outside of Raleigh and service Videojet coders. Have serviced and still do service some of the plants in NC and VA. My group will be on two white chevy pickups and we will be fishing together most of the time. Look us up and enjoy your trip.
