There's no skating around the issue, there's SKATES in the waters at Davis Island. While I was mulling over where to fish next, we caught a few MULLETS in between the skates and SHARKS. We skated aroud the island looking for a place to DRUM up some fish but were all puffed up about the numbers of skates and sharks that were stealing our bait. The TOADS were hopping out of the water at us right into the cooler.
Fresh shrimp was not available anywhere so bring your own.
Did I mention that we caught plenty of skates?
