Been going to Davis Island for several years. Never have gotten serious about drum fishing. Going May 6 and want to give it a diehard try. What do you recommend using for bait and rigs. Did luck up in May 1996 and catch a 42" drum about 1/4 mile north of lighthouse. Caught him on shrimp and a bottom rig. Most exciting 30 min. fight I've ever had. I know most folks use a fish finder rig and I've been told to fish the out going tide after dusk.
