Finally get to post a trip report. We made our 11:00 ferry after breakfast at Wilbers and bait at Tripps. Unloaded and went straight to the north end to fish the shoals. We caught four 30-33" pd and one keeper before the tide ran us in. Fished the next day checking mullet holes on the way south, no luck. Fished the jetty and gunmounts just trash fish. Walked about a 1/4 mile out at the point no luck. Went back to the north shoals, two more yearling pds. No fish to speak of Sat. Did get to watch Larry catch a nice 42.5" real fat drum, tag and release. Sun. had to work to even catch pinfish for bait. Did find some finger mullet near hunting lodge. Back out at the north shoals , caught 1 blue about 6#, 1 about 3.5# some taylors. Thought this was the start of a good run . Nothing but taylors and one keeper pd. Thanks to the AWFC crew for the concern and help when my little girl got sick and we took her to the ER. Great time in paradise. Tim
