A different kind of trip. We caught a gazillion skates and baby sharks. We finally quit tossing meat and switched to sand fleas. We found some clear rolling water west of the point and got some decent fish. 6 nice pompano with three of them citation size. Fished very hard to pick up 7 puppies, one really nice sheepshead, and a couple of nice black drum. Highlight of the trip was a large shark that scorched my thumb when I tried to put some pressure on him. I guess after 30 minutes and 600 yards down the beach, that shark finally figured out there was something on the other end of the line. Marvelous weather the whole time.
