We call ahead to all the bait/seafood markets to see if we can find any kind of bait fish (spot,Va. mullet, croaker, bluefish, etc.) Shrimp can be real hard to find so we buy some of the expensive gro. store kind and salt it down good. Also go to the light house dock and try to catch some pinfish. Frozen squid and salted mullet from the tackle shops works too.
