I'm not a shark expert, but I catch and eat a lot of them. I've never found one not good, in fact all have been delicious... as long as you do not disrupt the guts. I do normally soak them in milk (but not always) for a couple of hours to overnight and I clean them the same night I catch them. The sandbar, blacktips and spinners seem to be the most common on the NC coast. or so I have been told. I would love to hear from an expert as far as types are concerned most common on core banks. Surfsharker and other shark fishermen what do you think???
