well they are and they are not. It is the northern puffer that I eat and snik almost like a catfish, I usaully fillet the white meat and deep fry. It is better than any flounder or crappie!! There is also an ugly fish of the sea called an oyster toadfish. They may be good but I will never let anything that ugly into my mouth. I throw these back.
