wait and buy your bait when you get into town? Plenty of fish markets on your way to the ferry (Otis' in Morehead, Capt. Jim's on 70 in Morehead, McIntosh in Beaufort, or buy it from Alger's) Use salted, frozen only when fresh is not available.
