Air temp really doesn't have that much effect on water temps. The exception is that if we get long spells of wind from the S or SE, it pushes in warmer water,(and is usually associated with warmer air temps). SST sites seem to show warmer water temps than usual, so expect the spanish to show early. Hope to go over 3-6 myself if everything works out.
