Caught nice blues in the hole about 1/4 mile from north end, shoals on north end at low tide, south point wading out into the shoals on both sides of the spit. Sizes ranged from 12 to 18#. Group of 7 caught about 40, released all but 5. Missed about 2x as many as we caught because they would pick it up and swim in with the bait. They didn't hit it hard like smaller blues do but when they figured out they were hooked the fight was on. Hated to leave. Thanks to AWFC crew. Great trip.
