No matter what you could possibly come up with all of us that enjoy the island on a regular basis know how beautiful and peaceful it is. My husband and I have a truck with a camper, a sandbuggy, that has become our home away from home. I love going down and enjoying the ocean whether or not we catch fish. I am not big on fishing but my husband is. Two weeks ago I caught a blue fish weighing about 11 pounds and it was an awesome experience for me. Our kids love going down with us as well. So maybe you just need to get a different set up or maybe you should just keep all of your negativity on Cape Hatteras. You could give me a weekend full of rain and wind gusts but I would rather be at Cape Lookout anyday.
