Single rear wheel for sure. The trick to sand driving is that the rear wheels track exactly in the rut made by the front wheels. The wider the tire surface the better and with a 350 it will probably come with a 6 or 8 ply tire that wants 80 pounds of pressure which is not good, best thing is a wide rim with a wide tire and this is not standard on 250 or 350 trucks. They will work,u just have to let a lot of air out when you get on the island. The amount of air will depend on the amount of weight you have in the truck, you want to let all the air out that you can without loseing the bead on the rim. Letting the air out is what gives you the wider foot print. If it's an 80# tire you should go as low as 25-30#'s, if it's a 35# tire go as low as 20-25#. The least amount of air will give you the biggest foot print and that will give you the best gas milage an the most going power. Automatic trans. work best because they shift down faster than you can with a manual.
