What I've read at the NC DMF Site is that the Ocean Season north of New River is CLOSED. Flounder caught on the Sound Side (based on the COLREGS Lines and over 13 inches are keepers.
The big problem as I see it is getting "fair catch" sound-side flounder back to the cabin/camp area -- if you get stopped and checked.... you've only your word.
