Chum: I used a 6oz egg sinker with about a 3ft. mono leader on the end, single 5/0 hook, with s half cut mullet. Caught blues until I tired of them. Then tried for pomps and croaks. Had better luck with the pomps. Found them in the shell wash right behind the breakers. Going back Nov. 2-5
